Film Art Fantasy ReShade Bundle contains 2 high-quality presets (with 4 other variants) that aims to create a refreshing cinematic experience for those who enjoy immersing in an epic or dark fantasy setting.
EPIC is well-balanced for all players who enjoy bright contrasty fantasy settings, with less color distractions.
DARK is a gloomier version of EPIC with color tones usually used in dark fantasy & horror movies.
Both presets also have a less contrast version (for those who find the main presets too contrasty)
DARK has a muted (less vibrant) version as well (I personally use this the most as I’m over-sensitive to colors).
REQUIREMENTS:
Reshade & all the tools being used in this preset (Installation steps below)
Download this preset
– Unzip Film Art Fantasy Reshade.zip & paste contents to …\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XVI
– Download Reshade
– Install ReShade -> Choose FINAL FANTASY XVI -> DX10/11/12 -> Uncheck all and choose …\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XVI\Film Art – Epic Fantasy Reshade.ini (makes no difference choosing Epic or Dark) to install only the effects required
– Load up game
– Press Home when in game to enter ReShade interface
– Skip Tutorial & load your preferred preset from the dropdown list
– Toggle Performance Mode at the bottom of the interface & enjoy!
RECOMMENDATIONS:
To get the best cinematic experience, I recommend installing FFXVIFix by Wintermance
My personal adjustments made for FFXVIFix are as follow
– WindowedResX = 2600
– WindowedResY = 1000
– HUDSize = 0
– AdditionalFOV = 8
– HorizontalPos = 0.25
– VerticalPos = -0.5
I play in windows mode as my graphics card isn’t capable enough to play in full 4k resolution
Setting a wider screen makes the game more cinematic.
