Uninstalling Final Fantasy XVI Mods
If you’ve installed a mod but decide you’d prefer the original, unmodified Final Fantasy 16 experience, simply delete the files you added to the installation folder. However, it’s always a good idea to back up your save files and important game data to prevent any risk of data loss or corruption. As a general rule when modding any game, if a mod requires you to overwrite existing files, make sure to create a backup of those files beforehand.
For mods that come with automated installers, they often include uninstallers as well. In such cases, just run the uninstaller, and it will restore your game to its original state.
Uninstalling FF16 Mods with Mod Manager
To remove mods, you can either:
– Disable all mods in Reloaded-II except the Mod Loader, and boot up once, or
– Delete any .diff files in the game’s data/ folder.
